• I could sense something was amiss with my mate when I he stood by the window, looking off into the distance, a detached expression on his face. I cleared my throat, bringing back his focus as he blinked his eyes at me and then straightened his shoulders.
• “Cody what’s going on?” I asked quietly, sitting on the bed, with my legs crossed.
• I was feeling peaceful after a long hard day at work. I wanted to relax with my partner, forgetting about royal business and spend a nice night in with him but he fidgeted with his hands, and I knew instinctively that something was on his mind.
