• Jayden strolled into the apartment, smiling to himself as he noticed Iris busy working on her laptop. “Do you have a moment to talk? I have something important to tell you!” he said, watching as Iris raised her index finger in acknowledgement.
• For the past three hours, Jayden had role-played several times how he would approach this conversation with Iris. They had never kept secrets from each other since childhood--at least, not until recently. He had been building his self-confidence and wanted to come clean.
• Iris moved her laptop aside and said with a sweet smile, “Sure, what do you want to talk about?”
