• Alpha Black O’Donnoly rose to his feet. Standing behind Mr. Dawson, he spoke so no others could overhear their words, “I want the charges dropped before the end of the day!” His eyes narrowed on the defendant.
• Taking the threat seriously, “Alpha Black O’Donnoly, you know that unless there is evidence to prove it, I can’t call for a mistrial.” He kept his tone low and steady. “As you can already see, none of the witnesses has identified your son. This works in his favour. Minus the photo of his arrest at the scene … the prosecutors have nothing on your boy.” He filled his lungs. “For the remainder of the pack members, I am trying to get them the least time served. If they continue to disrupt the courtroom,” his head jiggled up and down, “I am afraid the prosecutors will get their wish for the death penalty.”
• Alpha Black O’Donnonly wrapped his fingers around Mr. Dawson’s shirt. Dragging him closer. Hissing in his face, “Do something about this!”
