Chapter 35
- Iris had been using her phone for a while. Paul listened as Iris relayed the information she had found on the laptop. Several times, Paul noticed Iris nod her head, followed by a monotone "Yeah!" or "Yes!"
- “I looked over what you sent me,” Iris said, turning her back to Paul as she strolled around the room. “No, don’t do anything with this information. Let it sit for the next six hours.” She paused in her movement, continuing to listen to the conversation on the other end. “No, change of plans. James and I are far from being buddy-buddy, but we have an understanding. I think the information you’ve given me is better suited in James's hands than being advertised to the general public.”
- Iris laughed. “The understanding is simple: I get to be the bad guy, and he gets the information. In the end, the sperm bank will spend the rest of its existence behind bars.” She turned her head to look at the screen. “Look, it doesn’t matter how we achieve the end result, as long as the O’Donnolly family goes down. That’s all I care about.”
