Chapter 26

• The husbands came to retrieve their wives one at a time. After finishing up their conversations, many of the Lunas pulled their husbands over to meet Iris. Iris greeted the men with a strong handshake. Luna Himara was the last to introduce Iris to her husband, Alpha Aoi. Iris greeted the Alpha with a traditional Japanese greeting followed by a sturdy handshake. What impressed Alpha Aoi the most was how fluent Iris was in speaking their native language.
• “My daddy encouraged me to learn other languages at a young age. Telling me one day I could travel to Japan for a conference on medicine. And it would be a good idea to know the mother tongue of the location I may visit.” Iris did stumble on a few words, but she was almost flawless.
• “You are a doctor!?” Alpha Aoi asked in his native language.
