Chapter 54

• Iris had a towel draped around her neck. Dabbing the sweat off her forehead, she glanced down at her phone. As the screen of her phone lit up. Without a second thought, she picked it up and wiped the remaining sweat from her body. Reading the messages that had come in over the last hour of her workout, her jaw dropped. “FUCK ME!” Iris grabbed her water bottle and rushed out the door, dressed only in her workout clothes.
• Rushing back to the apartment she had been assigned, Iris texted her cousin, "I'm going to take a quick shower; call me in 15!"
• Getting into the apartment quickly, her feet moving with purpose, Iris dropped her belongings on the table. As she stripped off her clothes and turned on the hot water, she let the streams hit her sore muscles. Breathing in and out slowly, she mentally prepared herself for the phone call she had been dreading.
