Chapter 53

• Iris began stretching her limbs as she heard Jayden mumbling in the washroom. Straining to listen, she tried to figure out who Jayden was speaking to. As she yawned, she heard the tap water in the bathroom being turned on, and she realized she couldn't eavesdrop any longer. By the time Jayden exited the washroom, Iris was already sitting up on the couch.
• “Good morning!” Iris greeted, yawning.
• “Sorry, I didn't wake you up, did I?” Jayden replied as he moved toward the lounge area of the apartment.
