Chapter 9
- The past month has gone by in a flash, but it felt like an eternity. All I did was study and take exams, and today was the last one - thank goodness! After talking to Evelyn about how I did, I'm feeling pretty good.
- I haven't seen Harvey since that night at the pub, and I'm kind of relieved. With exams coming up, I didn't have time to worry about boys. I doubt I'll ever see him again. Louis and I haven't talked either, since we were both so busy.
- Now that I'm done with exams, I'm packing up some of my stuff to go visit my mom for a couple of weeks. Then, next month, we'll finally graduate. It's been great spending time with my mom after all this time. She's a lawyer and usually very busy, but she's been making time for me. Her husband, paul, is also a lawyer. He was here for the first few days of my visit, but he's traveling for work now. I like Paul; he's nice and surprisingly fun to hang out with.
