Chapter 35

• harvey and I left the house, and as soon as we got to the training centre, we were welcomed by Jason and Tyler. Jason jokingly asked if I was the reason why they were late, and I rolled my eyes at him. harvey replied that he had just overslept a bit, and then they all started to look around the room. They stopped to give some pointers to the fighters, and I watched a fight between a man and a woman. The woman was clearly winning, and I was impressed. After a few minutes, I noticed the boys huddled up at the end of the room, so I went over to see what they were talking about.
• "Don't want her to be completely defenseless if something were to happen," Tyler, you train with her today. And go easy on her. I don't wanna have to kick your ass later."
• "Hey, I'm not helpless," I cut in, and the three of them turn around to look at me. "This chattering animal doesn't speak for me," I say, pointing my index finger at harvey.
