• The front door creaked open and we heard footsteps coming in. A few seconds later, Harvey entered with a girl. She was petite, about 5'2" and had chocolate brown hair and dark brown eyes. Her caramel skin was flawless and she had sharp, beautiful features. I felt a pang of envy when I saw her with Harvey. I could tell Jade was also feeling a bit jealous, but I tried to push the feeling away. Jealousy is an ugly emotion, Matilda. Ugly emotion.
• The girl looked at me with excitement and almost ran over to me, giving me a hug.
• "Oh my Moon Goddess, she's finally here," she said, breaking the hug and looking at me closely. "She's gorgeous, Harvey. You really got lucky with this one," she said, turning her head towards Harvey while still holding me by my shoulders.
