• Tonight has been absolutely perfect. I can't help but keep thinking about the moment I shared with Matilda. She was willing to leave the party just to be with me and it's been on my mind all night, driving me crazy. I'm pretty sure I've spent most of the night just staring at her, but honestly, there's nothing else worth looking at.
• She looks so stunning in that dress and seeing her walk around with all those unmated wolves has River wanting to mark her so everyone knows she's mine. All I want is to take her home, rip off that dress, and claim every inch of her skin.
• I was lost in my thoughts when Jason came over and distracted me. We've been talking for a few minutes but my mind is still on her as I glance at her from the corner of my eye.
