Chapter 21

• Tyler and I were dancing when I asked him how Harvey had made him a Gamma again after everything that had happened between them. He confirmed my suspicions by telling me that they had talked it out and were back to being best friends. He said that he, Jason, and Harvey had been friends since they were kids. After the song ended, I went to the tables to get a drink and Tyler followed me.
• Suddenly, I slipped on the snow and would have fallen on my butt in front of everyone if Tyler hadn't caught me. He helped me stand up, but I had twisted my ankle and had trouble walking. He asked if I was okay and I said I had twisted my ankle. He said he would go get Harvey so he could take me home, but when he returned, he said he couldn't find him and that he must have been busy with the other Alphas.
• I said I would just go back myself, but Tyler offered to take me to the pack house to get some medicine. I said I was too tired and he offered to come with me. He put his arm around my shoulder and I put my arm around his, and we slowly walked into the woods. It took us a while, but eventually we made it back to my house.
