Chapter 59
- We were sitting and waiting for any sign of movement beyond the woods. The river wasn't far from us and any chance of someone attacking from this side was gone after we set the camp on fire. But that didn't make the waiting any less daunting.
- "It was you, wasn't it?" Jason's voice broke the silence.
- I stopped pulling the weeds from the ground, something I was doing to keep my hands busy instead of fidgeting. I gave him a puzzled look.
