Chapter 30

• I ask Alice during lunch where Harvey is, scanning the dining hall for any sign of him. I noticed he wasn't at home when I woke up this morning, so I assumed he had something important to do. But now even Jason and Tyler are here and harvey is nowhere to be seen. I can't help but wonder if my request to join the pack made him mad, since he's been in a bad mood ever since. I don't understand why he agreed if he didn't like it. I'm starting to get worried, so I thought I'd ask someone before I drive myself crazy with my overthinking.
• Alice looks sober when she answers, "Today is Aunt Maria birthday. He probably went to her grave."
• "Oh," I reply quietly, finishing my food in silence before excusing myself to go back home.
