Chapter 7 The Savior

• ZADE’S POV
• Zade was sure Hazel Emmerson was the most annoying, obnoxious and crazy brat he had ever met. He didn’t know if the girl was truly raised by the Emmersons or if she was raised by animals. She was loud and inappropriate and everything he didn’t want in a woman. He at least hoped that if he was to marry a woman on contract terms against his will, then she would at least be respectable and decent. Hazel Emmerson was the opposite of everything he looked for in a woman and he was sure she would drive him crazy.
• The two families decided to take the party elsewhere. Zade’s father owned a huge sophisticated VIP bar in town and they all decided to go there to celebrate. Zade loved to drive by himself in the intimacy of his own car. He didn’t like the idea of personal chauffeurs because the thought of putting his life in the hands of someone else like that didn’t sit right with him.
