Chapter 39 Become A Monster

• ELORA’S POV
• It hadn’t been up to five minutes that the doctor informed Elora she had lost the baby. Before Zade brought her to the hospital, she was bleeding already. The pain had worsened. It was unlike anything Elora had ever experienced. Something deep withing her knew losing the baby was a possibility, but still, as she lay in her hospital bed, looking up at the doctor with a half-opened mouth and tears rolling down her cheeks, she couldn’t believe it.
• She wanted it to be a dream. The silence in the room was deafening. Once the doctor announced the tragic news, Zade had sucked in a sharp breath, but he didn’t utter a word. All he did was look towards Elora, his eyes watery with unspoken pain. She knew he had grown to love the little baby that was growing inside Elora, even though it wasn’t his.
