• She was back at the hotel by midnight. Some of her guards ran up to her the second she stepped out of the cab, worried looks on their faces. It wasn't that they cared so much about her. They were just scared of what Zade was going to do to them. Logan had cleaned her wounds and offered her new clothes. The jacket she was wearing was covering up her gunshot wound and she wanted to keep it that way.
• “I’m fine.” She raised her hand up when one of the guards reached to touch her. She walked into the hotel and took the elevator up to their room where Dain was pacing back and forth like a mad man. Once he spotted her, he dropped his phone and raced towards her. He pulled her towards his chest and squeezed her in a suffocating hug.
