Chapter 12 The Pool

• ZADE’S POV
• It was noon. Just a few hours after Zade’s encounter with Elora in the kitchen earlier that morning. When Elora left, Zade went back to his room, stared at himself in the mirror and slapped himself for how stupid he was being. He had touched Elora. It was a simple gesture but Zade had never felt heat rush to every single part of his body like that before.
• It was a normal human reaction, but Zade felt bad for it. Elora had just gone through and ordeal and yet, as he stared at her in the kitchen, her lips looked so pink and full that all he could think about was kissing her. He hated himself for wanting what he could not have. He was taking the day off from the office today. He was irritable and he didn’t think he would be focused in a working environment.
