Chapter 40 Something Fishy

• ELORA’S POV
• Her granny was better now. It had been a week since the incident with Elora had happened and the pain she felt was not there anymore. There was a hole in her heart where her baby was supposed to be, but Zade had come up with a brilliant idea to keep Elora’s mind off it. He decided they were going to plant a tree right in the center of their garden. The tree would be for the baby Elora lost. She would nurture the tree and watch it grow and every time she saw the tree thrive, she would be reminded of her baby.
• It was an excellent idea and once Zade had proposed it, Elora found she was able to breathe a little bit better. She had taken a leave from work for the one week she was recovering so she hadn’t been to the office or seen Dain since the incident. He had left her a few messages which she hadn’t yet responded to. The only people she felt like talking to were Zade and her granny.
