Chapter 17 The Drums

• ELORA’S POV
• Zade and Elora had managed to get married and get back home before Ambrose Dominic’s arrival. When Ambrose got home, Elora pretended that she had a fever and was asleep so she wouldn’t have to see the old man. Elora was nervous. She was lucky Ambrose had been occupied since he came back from his trip. It had only been a day since his arrival and she and Zade had been ignoring each other, communicating only through text.
• This evening, the two families were to meet, to discuss how the announcement for the engagement of Hazel to Zade, and Elora to Ambrose would be planned. They were all in for a surprise because Zade and Elora had planned to announce that they were married at the dinner tonight. It would be the first step of their plan.
