• ELORA’S POV
• Ambrose Dominic, Zade’s father had called for a sudden and unplanned meeting at his mansion that night. Zade didn’t want to go, saying his father couldn’t just summon people when he wanted. He stood in the kitchen, his hands gripping the counter with full force till his knuckles turned white.
• Elora walked up to him, placing her hands on his shoulders and pressing down lightly, releasing some of the tension in them. She felt Zade deflate and let out a deep sigh, closing his eyes and throwing his head back, savoring her touch.
