Chapter 68 Towards Her Doom
- It was awkward when they finished, like they didn’t know what to do with themselves. The high of their lust had come down, and now they just stared at each other, lost in a sea of unspoken words and unresolved emotions. Hazel felt nervous, but the last thing she was going to do was let it show. All her life, she had been strong. She wouldn’t let Logan get to her; she couldn’t.

- “What do you mean?” Logan replied, leaning against the wall, hands shoved deep in the pockets of his pants. He was acting like they had all the time in the world, which only frustrated her more. Why the hell was he so nonchalant now when he had just had his tongue down her throat a few minutes ago? It was driving her crazy.
