Chapter 30 The Day Out

• ZADE’S POV
• The strange number had called Zade twice before he finally decided to answer on the third ring. Once he heard Elora’s voice, and once she had explained in a very frail and weak voice that she was headed to the hospital and that she would explain everything later, he had abandoned everything he was doing at the office and gotten into his car.
• He arrived at the hospital in ten minutes and the nurse had indicated him to the third floor where Elora was getting treated. When he arrived at the third floor, he saw in front of Elora’s room a man he had never seen before. Elora said an old friend of hers had brought her to the hospital, so Zade knew his anger was not to be directed towards the man standing in front of him.
