• She needed to stop getting herself in these situations. She somehow always ended up getting in trouble and right now she was pissed off. Luckily enough for her, the bullet had only grazed her shoulder. The relief she felt when the strange man, whose name she didn't know yet, told her there was nothing in her shoulder and that she was overreacting was everything. How was she going to explain to Zade that she got shot because she was stubborn and foolish enough to go on a secret mission without informing him.
• It was almost 8p.m already. Too much time had passed and Elora knew Dain was probably going crazy out of his mind by now. She didn't know where the man had brought them, but they were in a mansion now in the middle of nowhere. Elora was sure they were at a mountain top or something. The windows were made of glass so she could see everything outside. The mansion was elevated and all she could see outside were rocks and clouds. She was past being scared. Now she was just annoyed and she was close to screaming from the slight ache on her shoulder where the bullet had grazed her.
