• The pregnancy was confirmed. Zade brought his doctor to the private mansion and Elora made the doctor carry out the tests about a dozen times and each time, the test results came out positive. She was pregnant yet she was in denial. She asked herself what she had done to make the universe punish her so much.
• She kept telling herself that she could learn to love the baby. It was growing inside her after all. She didn’t want to blame the baby for what Tony had done to her. She didn’t want to be that kind of person. She had been keeping herself locked up in her room since the doctor left and no matter what Zade did to cheer her up, his presence somehow only reminded her of how inadequate she was.
