Chapter 26 Old Friend

• ELORA’S POV
• Zade accompanied Elora to the advertising firm she used to work at the next morning. He had already called and made the necessary arrangements the day before to ensure that Elora got her job back. It was the first step they took in defying Peter Emmerson’s wishes and Elora couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride envelop her chest.
• Zade didn’t have to go with her, but he wanted to make a statement. He wanted people to see him with Elora so they would know not to mess with her. He accompanied her into the building and straight to her old office that her boss was a bit too eager to give back to her after Zade had presented him with a series of threats, and then in front of all the company staff, Zade had placed a light kiss on her lips in front of everyone and walked out, giving her a small wink.
