Chapter 9

• The visitors from Arthenis stood before the Scytan palace. The warriors looked around the imposing building and compound in awe. The grand palace, which had walls made of white limestone, stood so tall that the topmost part of it could not be seen as it was hidden in the clouds. The walls had the most impeccable designs. The designers must have been the greatest ones that existed. Every corner was neatly chiseled, and the king was probably going to have their heads if the tiniest mistake was made. The greenery around the palace complemented the perfect building. Bushes were carved to look like wolves, and the trees were arranged in the most orderly and beautiful manner. Even Ashina had her jaw hanging. Despite coming from a palace, she knew hers had nothing on this one.
• "Once again, I welcome you all to the palace of the great King Roy of Scyta." With a wide smile and an elevated chin, Princess Leslie, who had led them all in, said. How proud she felt to see that even the princess of Arthenis had been captivated by her home.
• "Princess Ashina, please allow me to escort you inside. Your warriors will have to wait here. You can bring in your top-ranking officials if you wish. " Leslie said nicely as she took Ashina's hands.
