Chapter 32 The Challenge

• "Princess! Do you not like the food? You have barely eaten any of it! You don't have to endure it if you're not pleased! Just give out the order and I will have the cooks get you something else in a moment," Ashina's maid, Jasmine, yelled. Ashina giggled at Jasmine's care, which she thought was almost pesky. She reminded her of Ertha, her favorite maid back at Arthenis.
• "It's nothing like that, Jasmine. Scyta has never failed me with its dishes. I was only distracted by some thoughts," Ashina explained.
• "What thoughts disturb my Princess?! Perhaps a lowly maid like me can somehow offer help," Jasmine offered, her face showing her worry.
