Chapter 30 King Roy

Ashina shrieked, almost jumping out of her bed in her sleep. With her eyes bulging, she panted heavily and her heart pounded. Her clothes and sheets were soaked in her sweat. She had had the same frightening dream of being chased by a bear, and going through it again didn't make it any less frightening. She let out a sigh as her breathing returned to normal. While she was worried about the nightmare now that it had occurred again, she was glad it wasn't one she feared was going to happen in reality-severing ties with Decker. She flinched as she thought of it for the umpteenth time. She had drifted to sleep the previous night while she pondered her stance with Decker. He might have been stubborn, but she loved him enough to be patient with him. She was prepared to prove her love for him just as he requested, but not just the way he suggested. She let out a sigh and facepalmed herself as she recalled Decker's suggestion.
How can he not see that that would be detrimental to the whole kingdom? Does he not care about the reputation of his place? Ashina thought to herself.
While she resumed her deep thinking from the previous night, her doors opened. This didn't startle her as she was now used to it.
