Chapter 38 The Set-Up

• "I... I beg your pardon?!" Morticia stuttered, totally dazed by what he had described her as. Juan's favorite toy? What could he possibly mean? She thought to herself. Giggling ominously, Darco flounced towards her, and subconsciously she took a step back.
• "Come on now, even you should know the rumors, Juan's promiscuity with you maids is no secret, and you happen to be his favorite maid now, aren't you? " He whispered to her, now just about a foot away from her.
• Morticia's eyes widened in further surprise. She could not comprehend how this man knew about her affair with Juan, as the two of them had always been very careful. She only saw Juan under the guise of cleaning his room, as that was her job at the time. It can't be possible. Could he be only making up stuff that happens to be true? She considered If he was, she could not understand why a member of the royal family would meddle in such trivial matters. She let out a sigh as she composed herself.
