Chapter 65 Disorder At The Council Meeting

• Thanks to her maid, Jasmine, basically forcing her, Ashina had washed, worn a simple white kirtle, and was now on her way to see the council members. She basically dragged her feet as she didn't want to do this. She knew the honorable were going to be angry and she wasn't prepared to deal with that, but if she was pushed, she was prepared to lash back at them. She was angry about a lot of things too, after all. Ashina adjusted the sleeves of her kirtle as she closed the meeting room. Ashina had said it was too simple and not appropriate for the council meeting, but Jasmine had said it was comfortable enough for her. She was going there to discuss important matters in the kingdom and not to please the honorable. That apart, Ashina felt she was not going to breathe in the royal purple gown with diamond linings that Jasmine had suggested she wear instead.
• “Hail the Princess and future Luna of Scyta!” The warrior standing guard by the door into the room yelled as he opened the door for the Princess. She inhaled and exhaled deeply before she stepped in and all eyes turned to her. As she expected, she was met with scowls and frowns.
