Chapter 11 Not So Compatible, Are We?

• "I? Scum?" Prince Juan asked dramatically, his palm on his chest. Princess Ashina kept mute, only looking at home with disgust. Amused, Prince Juan giggled. He took the final gulp of his drink and dropped the cup back on the table. He let out a sigh.
• "Okay, okay. It has not been the best conversation so far, and to be honest, I'm sick of this. Let's start this all over again. I remain respectful and you remain respectful. Deal?" The prince asked with his brow raised. He stretched his hand out to Ashina for a handshake to seal the deal. Ashina shuddered at the sight of his stretched-out palm. She thought he was crazy to think the previous convo had not left a dent.
• "Deal," Ashina said with a smile, intertwining all of her fingers to show she was not willing to shake him. With his jaw slightly dropped, Prince Juan nodded his head slowly and withdrew his hand. He was offended as his palm was rebuked. He chose to let it slide.
