Chapter 16 The Scytan Royal Council

• Decker got off Ashina and lay on the other side of the bed, beside He panted like he had been running. He and Ashina had only just concluded their roll in the hay. Giggling, Ashina turned to him and rested her head on his chest. Their sweaty, unclad bodies touched.
• "Now just how was that?" Ashina asked him as she listened to his heart pound against her ear. He giggled as he let his fingers run through her hair.
• "Well, of course, it was fun. I just wish we didn't have to be cautious of even the slightest sound in fear of getting caught. I wish this was our bed, in our castle, in our kingdom," Decker explained. Ashina smiled as she traced patterns on his chest with her finger.
