Chapter 86 Queen Leah's Secret

  • In one of the many rooms of the mighty Arthenish palace, Chief Greg, son of a certain Arthenish warrior, took a sip of wine from his glass. As he set the glass down back on the table before him, his brows furrowed a bit, and he nodded his head slowly as he made a clicking sound with his tongue. He was savoring the rich taste of the fermented grape juice.
  • “My Queen! It's always an honor to drink with you. I'm sure you know how much I always look forward to this! Besides the privilege of being your drinking partner, the taste of the palace wine is simply... delightful!” The chief explained.
  • Queen Leah, who was at the other end of the bronze round table, obliviously nodded her head, slowly. She had barely taken a sip of her full glass of wine before her. The Arthenish Queen seemed to be lost in thought as she had her eyes fixed outside the window, which was just by her side. Chief Greg knew she wasn't seeing the clouds in her line of sight. She was seeing other things in her head. The chief heaved a sigh. The Queen had been this way since their little wine lunch began. He sat up, ready to engage in a serious conversation with her.
