Chapter 46 Juan's Kiss

• With his palm still on her face, Prince Juan's thumb gently stroked Ashina's cheek as his face slowly moved towards hers. Out of shock, Ashina remained still with her eyes bulging. She hoped this was a dream she was having in her sleep, but it wasn't. She knew it was real. What she felt could not be faked. Each stroke of his thumb on her cheek sent sparks across every part of her body. She felt excited as a handsome prince was about to kiss her. Any woman was going to be excited about it.
• Well, the emotion that Ashina felt the most was fear. fear that his lips were going to touch hers. Ashina didn't want this as it didn't feel right. She was not in love with this man, and the man whom she truly loved was not going to like this. Even if Decker never got to know about it, Ashina knew that she was going to live with the guilt forever. Even if it was only going to be a kiss, it showed just how loyal Ashina was to Decker.
• Do not let him! Do not allow him! Every part of Ashina's body screamed at her. She didn't want to let him either, but her body, which was against it, didn't seem to be able to move. She remained frozen. Juan's face was now so close to hers that their noses touched. Ashina's heart raced as it was almost too late and she had to act fast, but she still could not move as much as a muscle. Juan's warm, minty breath was not helping it at all. It endeared Ashina and fed the excited part of her. Juan tilted his head a bit, about to go in for it, and all Ashina could think about now was how handsome the prince looked up close. Even with his not as shiny as usual eyes, eye bags, and pale skin, he remained so beautiful.
