Chapter 52 The Big Day

• It was all just like Ashina had predicted. While she sat on a stool, several maids behind her bickered over how they were going to style her hair. They took turns showcasing the hairstyle that they thought was perfect for the princess's big day. Ashina's legs and arms were spread out, and some other maids were at work on the four limbs. Her fingernails were getting painted. Ashina thought this was a waste of time as the large gown she saw Reta carry was going to cover the whole of her arms and legs. Still, Ashina did not complain. She let them take all the time they needed. She felt like she could survive it all. She had gotten enough sleep, but having had enough sleep was not enough to deal with the stress Ashina was going through now. Unknowingly, she smiled at the memory of the previous night. She and Decker made sure to exhaust themselves. Decker felt every part of her, inside and out, and so did she feel every part of him. It was a night she was always going to remember, as they had never done it that way before. They went on until they had totally worn themselves out and could not even move as much as a limb. Now, thanks to Decker, she felt so light and as free as a wild bird. No amount of stress she incurred today was going to cause her breakdown. While she relived the night she shared with Decker in her mind, she remembered the part where she had his warm, salty liquid in her mouth. This caused her to giggle.
• "Oh, my princess, what excites you?! Do not tell me you're already making up imaginations of you and the prince together!" Reta exclaimed, smiling wryly. Ashina widened her eyes and pressed her lips into a hard line. She had not realized she had let out that laugh in real life.
• "Oh, err...  hehe! Yes, I mean, what else could I be imagining?" Ashina stuttered, awkwardly giggling at her couturier. Reta smiled proudly.
