• Maliyla's POV
• The announcement that Katia was pregnant was the best news that could have come our way, given our current circumstances. It was something Jonathan had always wanted, so I was thrilled to see him finally getting what he always wanted: a mate and a house full of pups. It was a joy for Katia as well. She always dreamed of having a big family. They were entering the beginning of the most beautiful chapter in their lives.
• Jonathan had arranged for Katia to see Dr. Neal earlier in the week. Unfortunately, he could not attend with the Onyx Fang Pack on its way. As a result, I offered to go in his place. My alarm went off at five AM that morning. As I reached over, I noticed Hector's side of the bed was empty. As he had done when he proposed, he left a note and a white rose.
