• Maliyla's POV
• As the days passed, I explored the pack, learning about the layout and the local shops. During my exploration, I had the chance to interact with other pack members, getting to know their personalities and roles within the pack. Some were friendly and welcoming, offering constructive advice and showing me around, while others were more reserved and cautious, observing my every move. It was through these interactions that I truly began to feel a sense of belonging and understanding within the pack. Hector usually accompanied me, but Jonathan would take his place when he was unable to. Initially, it was extremely annoying having someone accompany me as if they were my babysitter; however, as I got to know Jonathan better, I began to appreciate his presence more and more. My friendship with Jonathan developed into trust; I could rely on him for advice and support, and I was grateful to have him by my side. It was cool learning that Jonathan's father was the pack's former Beta and that Jonathan's father and Hector's father retired simultaneously and decided to travel a bit before settling into their lives.
• Jonathan took his Beta role seriously; I admired his diligent work and dedication. Not to mention, Jonathan and Hector have been friends since childhood, and they could work together without issues. His response was unexpected when I asked him if he found it challenging to work together.
