• Hector's POV
• The last thing I should have done was leave her side. My promise to Maliyla was that nothing would happen to her, and yet Adam took advantage of the opportunity to get close to her the moment I walked away. Maliyla was usually good at controlling Hathor. It was rare for her wolf to come forward. It was a lesson I wanted to master, except this time, Hathor was uncontrollable. Furthermore, it was the first time a wolf had been heard talking.
