Chapter 99 Enraged

• "How long has he been here" CJ asked his coworkers as they prepared for their shift in the locker room of Charles Bar... They both had cornered looks on as they talked... "It's been almost two days now... I think something is going on with him... he hasn't come out of his room since the day he came back after looking all excited, I wonder what happened to him" Frank responded and shook his head... Two days before Charles had been in such an excited mood on his way out, but when he had returned a few hours later he was the complete contrast of the boss they knew... He looked beyond dampened and absent-minded... Before they could ask him what was going in with him, he had disappeared into his private room and locked himself in..
• They had tried to speak to him, but he had instructed them that he didn't want to be disturbed, leaving everyone worried because they knew the Type of person he was and how rarely that ever happened... "I don't think I've ever seen him mad before..." CY sighed deeply as he closed his lock...
• Both men left the locker room, no longer speaking about Charles, but they were both surprised when they saw Charles walking out of his private room... His eyes look lifeless... He reeked of alcohol as he walked past them... "Good morning sir" They both greeted in unison causing him to stop in his tracks to acknowledge them... "Good morning... please inform the manager that I will be gone for a few days" Charles said to them before walking off... leaving both men confused and concerned "Something is up... do you think he got dumped" CJ said but Frank shook his head in disagreement... "I don't think so, maybe business isn't doing so well and it's troubling him... but we have been through tougher times and he was never like this" ...
