Chapter 38 Trauma

• Alex eyes fluttered open and became wide in horror, how the whole body was covered in sweet and his chest heaving... he closed his eyes and sat up in his bed. It was just a dream... It had looked so real and vivid, and he still felt that horror even though he was aware that none of it was real... He tried to steady his breath and stood up... Alex walked into his closet and changed his shirt to another shirt... He had been having the same nightmare for years now, and it wasn't getting better, only worse and vivid, but the one he had now scared the shit out of him...
• He walked out of his room and headed down the stairs... The house felt too stuffy for him.... He didn't want to be here any longer... He froze in his tracks when he got to the way that led to another hallway in the house... The hallway when the room in his nightmares were..... He wished there was a way he could demolish the entire house, but he knew his mother and uncle would freak out if he suggested a thing like that... it was a house that had been passed down from generation to generation... His father got this house, while his uncle got another of their estate at the countryside... His uncle preferred it there...
• Alex sighed deeply and turned away... The house looked empty as he walked towards the garage. Everyone had probably retired for the night... He got to his garage and just grabbed any keys... Alex got into the car that the key unlocked and drove out of his residence... His free hand travelled to his chest, and he tried to steady his breathing... he felt unsettled and wanted to see her for himself that she was fine...
