Chapter 121 The Culprit

• Alex sighed deeply and wiped the tears away from Juliet's eyes... she was trying to catch her breath and stopped crying, but the more he wiped her tears away and tried to console her, the more tears escaped her eyes... she should be the one to console him, not the him... but her heart broke for him. she felt like her heart was being stabbed and squeezed, and her hand travelled to his face and caressed it softly... juliet wiped away the tears that had escaped it and leaned closer to plant a soft kiss on his face... her kiss was as soft as a feather, and she kissed away his tears... "I'm sorry," Alex said when he saw the state she was in because of him... Juliet shook her head and drew him into her arms... she had no idea how his mother could do such a thing to him... she had no idea how Alex could live like this with so much pain in his heart and still act like he was okay... she understood his panic attacks now, and she wanted him to heal and be okay... she wanted to help him in the best way possible... "I tried going in there over the years because I had this thought that if I could, then I could overcome it, but anytime I tried to... my chest tightens, " He said in a low voice and sighed deeply... Alex broke the hug and tugged a few strands of juliet hair behind her ear... he wiped away her remaining tears and smiled at her... "But maybe this time I can overcome it," He said, and she nodded.. "I'm going to help you to," She assured firmly, and Alex nodded... he trusted her and hoped that maybe one day they could finally live the life they wanted in peace...
