• "I'm sorry, but I can't accept this. you need to leave." Her mother said cold and kept glancing behind her to make sure no one was coming... Gina scoffed and squeezed the wedding invitation that she was holding in her hand... her heart felt like a spear was run through it. "Do you hate me that much? I'm your daughter for crying out loud! Why do you hate me so much... you never called or visited... you didn't care that I had to live with Dad! You never did care about me... you abandoned me... and I don't care about that; I just want you to come to my wedding, and you can't even do that for me!" Gina Burst out in anger... her lips trembling a little as tears threatened to fall from her eyes, and her mother didn't look fazed... she just wanted her daughter to leave... it made Gina want to yell out loud in anger because of how she was feeling... "Yes, I do hate you," her mother finally said, and she froze completely in her tracks... "What!" Gina muttered in a low voice, her heart dropping... her mother ran her hand through her hair and tugged on it a little... "I wanted to take you with me, but I couldn't because you reminded me so much of him. The way that you acted was like him, and I found myself hating you as I hated him. so I made the decision. If I left you behind, you would be fine with him. You are like him, so you should be okay with that, " her mother scoffed and shook her head...
• "Why don't you want me to be happy for once in my life? Why do you show up now... I don't want to see you... I want to never see you again... I don't want to be at your wedding when he is there..." Gina stood there in absolute silence, her heart racing as she listened to her mother. She immediately turned away and started to walk towards her car because she couldn't bear to listen to any more words that her mother was going to say because if she did it was only going to break her heart... she got into her car and started her car engine. Her mother stood there watching her for a while before she finally turned and walked towards her house where her mother's daughter was waiting... she watched as her mother smiled lovingly at her and gave her a warm hug before they disappeared into her house... Gina let out a shaky breath as she turned her steering wheel...
