Chapter 111 Tension

• Juliet's chest heaved as she stared at Alex. Her hair was dishevelled, and Alex's hand travelled to her face as he tried to tuck a few strands of her hair behind her ear... she looked completely flustered and she opened her mouth to say something to him but no words came out when she felt him harden beneath her once again... it was bright outside already, and the sunlight was coming into the room through the opened window... "I'm sorry," Alex said to her in a low voice and planted a soft kiss on her shoulder as he slid out of her... Juliet looked too stunned to speak as she tried to catch her breath... "What about work?" She finally found her voice to speak, but it was hoarse... "I think I'm going to skip work for today," Alex answered, and Juliet nodded... she was completely exhausted and drifted off to sleep a feeling moments later, while Alex left the room to make the both of them some breakfast... when she woke up again, an hour had passed already, and Alex was sitting beside her on the bed... he was dressed in fresh clothes and she could tell he had taken a shower... "What time is it?" She asked, and Alex glanced at the bedside clock... "past twelve," " he responded, and Juliet's eyes grew wide... "What!" she said and got up... she ran her hand through her hair, and her face became completely flushed when her stomach growled loudly... "I made you breakfast, but I didn't want to wake you... I will be downstairs, " Alex said and planted a soft kiss on her lips... juliet watched in silence as Alex got up and left the room... she let out a deep sigh and started to search for her clothes on the floor, but it wasn't there... thankfully, she found an Alex shirt from before and put it on... Her legs were a bit weak and wobbly when she got up from the bed, and she felt a bit sore... She bit her lips, and memories kept flooding her mind... the way Alex touched her and the way they kept going till she couldn't anymore... Juliet face palmed herself as she walked to the bathroom, but when she saw the state she was in the mirror, she almost screamed... julJulietuldn't believe she was staring back at herself... her hair looked like a birbirdsst and her eyes were a bit red and swollen... she tried to arrange her hair but it was of no use... "Oh my!" Juliet muttered as he picked up her brush and started to brush her teeth. The hunger she was feeling increased with each passing second, but when she was done and as she washed her face... she completely froze... they didn't use protection... what if... Juliet gave her head a little shake to wad off such thoughts... it couldn't be... she decided not to overthink things and maybe have a talk with Alex about it later... Now, she only wanted to enjoy the days as they came...
• Juliet's stomach growled as she walked down the stairs and headed to the kitchen. The aroma of fresh coffee invaded her nostrils the moment she walked into the kitchen... Alex was standing by the sink, and his back was turned to her... she couldn't see what he was doing, but Juliet just stood there adriming the image in front of her... his sleeves were rolled up and bit her lips when an image of him with it shirt went popped up in her mind... juliet gave her head a little shake when she realised where her mind was trailing to, and she swallowed when Alex turned to look at her when he noticed her presence... He had the most beautiful smile on his face, and her stomach did the thing... "Juliet" Alex said her name, but got no response... she just continued to stare at him in silence... her hand fisted beside her and her heart racing like crazy... Alex dropped the dishes in his hand and walked over to where Juliet was before she finally regained her composure... she swallowed once again and gave her head a little shake when she realised the kind of thoughts that were invading her mind... "I should sit down," Juliet said and took a seat, leaving Alex a bit confused... he turned to look at her and then went back to what he was doing... Alex made her a cup of warm coffee and placed her breakfast in front of her. He then sat beside her, and Juliet's breath hitched when his scent invaded her nostrils... she glanced at him and quickly looked away when the naughty thoughts started to invade her mind once again... f*ck! This wasn't good... she had no idea what was wrong with her...
• Alex's eyes travelled from Juliet's eyes to her nose and then to her lips as she slowly took a sip from her coffee... he swallowed when he imagined capturing her lips and making her moan into his mouth... Alex cleared his throat and looked away from Juliet, he reminded himself about how he had exhausted her just a few hours ago so he could try to calm his nerves, but sitting close to her and feeling her closeness wasn't helping him... he stood up from beside her when he couldn't take it anymore... "Would you like some more coffee?" Alex asked when he saw that her cup was empty and Juliet nodded... her eyes following him as he walked over to the counter then he turned to look at her when he realised the coffee glass jug was on the table close to the cup he picked up... he almost cursed under his breath while Juliet tried her best to hold back a smile... "I didn't see it there," Alex says and walks back over. She was about to drop the cup but dropped in because of how nervous he had become... but thankfully Juliet was able to catch it... she dropped it back on the table and was about to look up at Alex when she felt a hand snake around her waist and pull her closer...
