- Lana's eyes travelled to Sonia's office for the nth time, and then he darted towards the entrance office... she glanced at her clock and sighed deeply when she realised Juliet was a bit late... she picked up her phone and was about to call up Juliet bit stopped when someone walked through the entrance of their office
- "Juliet," Lana said in a low voice when Juliet walked into the office... she drew Juliet to the break room suddenly and didn't even let Juliet drop her bag and get settled in for the day... juliet looked completely confused. "Is something the matter?" She asked, confusion etched on her face... "I was just about to call you, but you came in just a minute after she went into Sonia's office", Lana explained. Juliet was still confused because she had no who or what Lana was talking about... "Michelle Graham! She is in Sonia's office right now, " Lana said when she saw the confused look on Juliet's face... Juliet's heart immediately dropped... "What!" she said in a low voice. What was Alex's mother doing at her workplace again... the only difference was this time, she was here... Juliet couldn't help but think about the last time she had spoken to Michelle Graham. It wasn't a friendly talk. It had left Juliet a bit shaken up that Alex's mother disliked her... she and Lana left the break room and went back to their space, but Juliet couldn't help but look toward Sonia's office every few minutes... Lana did the same, curious to know how Juliet was affiliated with such a wealthy woman... finally, Michelle and Sonia ut of Sonia's office, and Michelle's eyes immediately travelled to where Juliet was seated as they walked by... "I will be right back," Juliet said to Lana when Michelle finally left their office... lana watched as Juliet left in a hurry, and she wanted to follow after, but she couldn't. She had work to do, and Johnny was watching her like a hawk... "What!" he mouthed at him, and he shook his head before returning his attention to his work... Lana did the same even though a part of her mind remained on Juliet and Michelle...
- Juliet came out of her office building thinking Michelle must have left and she had missed her, but Michelle was standing by her car waiting for her to show up... "Are you free for a few minutes? Would you like to have a cup of coffee with me?" Michelle asked, and Juliet nodded... Michelle's driver opened the door of the car for both women, and the drive to the coffee shop was a silent one... the air felt heavy as they rode in silence, Michelle didn't say a single word to Juliet and acted like she wasn't even seated beside her, while Juliet sat their feeling beyond nervous, her mind going through different thoughts... had she come to ask her to stay away from Alex? what had she talked about with Sonia? Did she perhaps ask about her? or did she ask Sonia to fire her as these wicked mother's did in the dramas she watched on TV... juliet couldn't even bring herself to glance at Michelle because she couldn't but think about Alex and what he had to go through when he was just a child... Michelle was a woman who had abandoned her child when he needed her the most... she had left him in such a state, and Juliet knew Michelle wasn't aware of Alex's panic attacks... it showed her how Michelle and Alex's relationship was Alex didn't tell his mother not because he didn't want her to worry but because he didn't see the need to... They arrived at a coffee shop that was just a few minutes away from Juliet's workplace, and the car came to a halt...
