Chapter 39 Worry

• Juliet continued to pat his back softly and soothingly till he finally calmed down, and his breath slowly started to return back to normal... Alex felt the pain in his chest slowly start to dissipate... and he dropped the paper bag and took one last deep breath... "Are you alright?" She said in a soft voice, her eyes filled with concern... Alex nodded and felt like almost all the energy in his body had drained out... "Are you sure you don't need to go to the hospital?" She asked him again, and he nodded. She nodded also and decided not to ask him that it was all about... he didn't look like he was in the best position to start explaining it to her... "I will be right back," She said to him and stood up... Alex watched her as she walked towards her kitchen... He had only ended up making her worry... he still felt the pain in his chest even though it had reduced.... he wasn't in the best state to drive himself home, so he decided to call Patrick to come pick him up, but He realised he wasn't with his phone... He had not carried it with him when he left his house... she came out of the kitchen with the glass of water with her hand...
• He sighed deeply and took the glass of water from her and drank from it... She sat beside him again. her eyes still on him... Did he have panic attacks? she wondered but wasn't sure it it was right for her to ask him about it... He dropped the cup on her table and looked at her... Her facial expression was a mixture of curiosity and concern... "it must be due to stress," He said to ease her worry... "I will be fine tomorrow," He added, and Juliet couldn't help but still worry... his face was really pale, and he didn't look good... he looked tired, but not sleepy tire, without a lot of energy tired....
• "You should lay down for a few minutes," She said, and Alex immediately declined her request... "No, I should be on my way now it must be past midnight now," He said and tried to stand up but ended up staggering almost... he closed his eyes when she held his hand and helped him sit down... "Just do as I say, I will wake you after thirty minutes," She said firmly and glared at him so he wouldn't try to decline... he finally agreed and laid down on her couch...
