• "What!?" Patrick said, his eyes wide in disbelief about what he had just heard... was he hearing wrong... "I was shocked too when I found out about it, but what could I do.. she wouldn't listen and did the opposite of what I asked her to... she went on to work there, and then the next thing I heard was that she died... you have no idea how devatsed I was when I found out that she had passed... if she had listened to me, none of that would have happened. " Mr Reynolds shook his head and sighed deeply... "What shocked me even more was the fact that Mr Graham passed away too in an accident on the same day that Glenda passed away... don't you think it's too much of a coincidence... I don't think it was a coincidence at all... I think whoever did that to Glenda was responsible for what happened to Mr Graham, " he said firmly, and Patrick sighed deeply... "She was really fond of that child... she spoke about him often.. I wonder how he is doing now?" What could Patrick say. that Alex was doing good or perhaps Alex had been traumatised because he was the one who found Glenda's lifeless body and seeing such a thing had scared him for life and ruined his childhood... how could such a thing happen... did Michelle perhaps have a hand in any of it... that was what he needed to find out now to know what his next move was going to be... Patrick stood up, ready to leave, and Mr Reynolds stood up also and walked him to the door... "I know it will be hard to find out what happened over twenty years ago. but before I die, I wish to know what really happened to my sister. only then can I get closure, " he said, and Patrick nodded... "I will try my best..." was all Patrick could say. How could he assure him when even he didn't know where to start anymore... the more he found out, the more complicated everything became... what exactly had Glenda seen that had led to her untimely death... he wondered.... what secret were the hult family hiding that The late Mr Graham had to hire an undercover nanny to watch his wife actions while he was away... what did he suspect Michelle of? an affair? or something else? Did Glenda find out what it was? was that why she was killed? this was the question that Patrick knew Alex would want an answer to, but Patrick decided that until he was certain about everything, he wouldn't inform Alex yet of his findings... he needed something more concrete... something that would give them more insight into what happened back then...
• Patrick walked back to his car and got in... he could still see Mr Reynolds staring at him as he started his car engine and drove away... He wanted to find out the truth and give the old man the closure he wanted...
