Chapter 129 Changing The Past
- Michelle stood up, ready to leave, but she stopped when she was about to walk past Juliet... she tilted her head and sighed deeply... "I did what I could to protect my son... you have no idea what I'm capable of doing for him, " Michelle said before walking away.... juliet sat there a bit zoned out before she got up and quickly went after Michelle... thankfully, she was able to stop Michelle from leaving just before she got into her car... she held Michelle's hand, stopping her before she could get into her car... Michelle turned to look at Juliet, and Juliet swallowed but didn't back down because she had something to say... "I'm sorry ma'am, but I don't think I can grant your request," Juliet said firmly, her eyes unwavering as she stared at Michelle square in the eye. Michelle scoffed and swatted her hand away from Juliet's... "I'm not asking," Michelle said coldly in an attempt to intimidate Juliet as she did to everyone who tried to defile her words, but it didn't work this time... JuJulietas was too determined to back down. There was no way she was going to let Alex go. not because of anyone. She loved him and was going to stay by his side. She didn't care if she had to make an enemy of Michelle. "I'm not too, I'm stating," Juliet said, and Michelle let out a laugh... she shook her head and sighed deeply. "You have no idea what you are talking about, girl. Alex is just like his father, and you will find out what I'm talking about soon enough. At the end of the day, family is what matters," Michelle said. Juliet blurted out that Michelle knew nothing about family, but she just watched as Michelle got into her car and stood in the same spot till the car disappeared from her sight of view...
- Michelle sat in her car, a deep frown on her face, her blood boiling in rage... Never had she had someone like that speak to her that way, all Alex's ex-girlfriends didn't have the guts to look her in the eye and they all left without a second thought, but Juliet was tougher than she expected... she was ready to take her on, and Michelle sighed deeply... was it a good thing or bad thing. She had always wanted a daughter who would be on her side, but it seemed like her hope had been too farfetched to ever happen... she opened her bag and took out her phone when her phone started blaring but as soon as Michelle saw who was calling she declined the call and started to rub the side of her head because of the headache that had slowly increased... her phone started to ring again, and Michelle felt like throwing her phone out the window. "What the hell do you want!" she said angrily when she answered the call, her eyes darting to the rearview mirror to look at her driver, who had his eyes on the road and looked like he could care less about her phone call or her loud voice... "I can't come out today," Shs said, her eyes still on the rearview mirror... she ended the call a few seconds later and let out a really deep sigh. "Stop the car and get out," Michelle instructed, and Jared, who had seemed uninterested a few seconds ago, became utterly confused... "What?" He said, unsure of if he had heard Michelle's instructions right... "Are you deaf? Stop the freaking car and get the hell out!" Michelle's voice thundered through the car, and Jared immediately did as she said... stopped the car at the side of the road and came out as Michelle had instructed, his face etched with pure confusion as he watched Michelle come out from the car and walk over to the driver's side... he stood there looking completely perplexed as the car zoomed off, leaving him there all alone... "She is one crazy woman," Jared muttered and shook his head... of all the crazy people he had had the opportunity to work with, Michelle was one of the craziest. One second, she was normal, and the next second, she acted like she had gone completely senile...
- "That f*cking piece of sh*t!" Michelle cursed and slammed her hand into the steering wheel as she drove the car... if her mood had been ruined before by Juliet, now it had become beyond ruined and felt like destroying everything and everyone... "Does he think he can order me around anytime he f*ckinh want!" she yelled as she pulled up into a deserted-looking area with many abandoned houses... it looked like the house needed redevelopment... she slowed down when she got to a house that was at the dead end of a street... she stopped the car and came out looking madder than ever...
