• Juliet's breath hitched as Alex lips drew closer to hers, and just as he was about to capture her lips, the sound of the doorbell interrupted them.... "f*ck." Alex cursed under his breath, and a smile appeared on her face.... she couldn't help but chuckle, and Alex did the same, too... "I will be right back, it better be important," He said, and juliet nodded... her hand travelled to her chest when Alex released her from his arms and left the kitchen... her heart was beating so fast, and she couldn't believe even after all they did she still wanted him... she poured herself a glass of water and drank it all in one go... her cheeks were completely flushed, and the room started to feel hot...
• Alex walked to the front door and turned on the secretly camera to see Patrick standing by the door... he ran his hand through his hair and sighed deeply before he unlocked the door... "What do you want?" was the first thing Alex said to his P.A, "I called you multiple times, but I didn't get an answer," Patrick said and walked past Alex into the house... Juliet was on her way out of the kitchen and walked into the living room to see who it was that was at the door... she immediately recognised Patrick when she saw him and a smile appeared on her face... "Good afternoon ma'am," He greeted. "Good afternoon, how have you been... it's been a while since I last saw you, " Juliet said, and before Alex knew it, they both started to engage in a friendly conversion... Alex stood there staring back and forth between his P.A. and girlfriend, who had suddenly become close in a space of two minutes... he cleared his throat so they wouldn't forget that he was still in the room and Patrick almost rolled his eyes at his boss... "You haven't answered my questions yet,I told you already that I wouldn't be coming to work today," Alex asked, and juliet knew it was her cue to leave... "I will be in my room," She said and was about to leave, but alex drew her into his arms before she could and planted a swift kiss on her lips... juliet immediately became embarrassed because Patrick was watching them the whole time, and he had a smile on his face... Alex didn't seem to care one bit about the fact that Patrick was standing behind them... "I'm right here," Patrick said to alert Alex, but he sighed because he knew Alex didn't care if he was right there or not...
• "i was digging through some old files and I found something that I think you need to see" Patrick said, his demeanour becoming serious as soon as juliet was gone and only him and Alex was left... Alex took the envelope in his secretary hand and opened it, and his eyes immediately grew wide when he saw the contents of what was in the envelope... it contained some really old pictures, but the pictures weren't the problem... what the problem was were the people who were present in the picture... it was a picture of his nanny who had passed and his father, but what made it weird was the date the picture was taken... it was taken five years before Alex was born, and that was before his father even met his father... his father knew her back then... "and sir the reason I think you couldn't find anything about her is because of the fact that she wasn't using her real name while working as your nanny," Patrick added... he brought out another document and handed it to Alex, "When I found this picture, I decided to dig deeper and found out your father went to high school with her... he name is Glenda Reynolds, " Patrick informed, and Alex opened the document that contained pictures of when his father wad in high school. Patrick had marked out the spot where Glenda was present, and she seemed close to his father... "What else did you find out?" Alex inquired, and Alex sighed deeply... "nothing else sir, but I'm still looking into it, but from the little information I've gathered it seemed your father hired her as your nanny for a reason, I'm trying to find that reason out" Patrick said.
