Chapter 91

• Oliver paced around, knowing he couldn't be around Charlotte, even if he wanted to. He had made her distrust him, but she wasn't stupid, and he knew she would have figured it out by now. Yet, he desperately wanted to see her, and his feelings for her were turning into an obsession, unbeknownst to him. Desperate, he picked up his phone and called her.
• "Mia?" he said as she picked up, and he noticed the change in her tone. This wasn't how she spoke to him before, and he knew it.
• "It's been a while; I just wanted to say hi," he said, trying to sound casual. "Do you want to hang out?" he asked, his voice laced with hope.
